In pursuance to the Code of Corporate Governance, 2016 and circular 7 of 2023 issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan The United Insurance Company of Pakistan has established Grievance Department for efficient and effective complaint handling.

The centralized function provides one window support to the policyholders in all matters of grievance.

 The primary purpose of the Grievance department is to resolve the complaints related to claims, underwriting or any other matters and ensure that the grievance of policholders are addressed in timely manner as required in the Circular 7 of 2023.

 In order to provide effective and timely support, following information may be provided:

  1. Name of Policy Holder
  2. CNIC Number
  3. In case the complaint is filed by any person other than the policyholder, authorization from policy holder will be required.
  4. Policy Number
  5. Claim Number
  6. Contact Number
  7. Date of lodgement of complaint
  8. Nature and Type of Complaint
  9. Detail of Complaint
  10. Any other information.
  11. The relevant department / Grievance department may require further information or documentations. The claimant is bound to provide the same immediately for timely resolution of issues at hand.
