The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has allowed United Insurance Company of Pakistan Limited to officially resume its guarantee business operations. The court suspended SECP’s previous directives and ordered the withdrawal of its earlier press release regarding the cessation of these services.

With this decision, all restrictions on United Insurance’s guarantee business have been lifted, allowing the company to continue operations under the legal framework established by the court.

This development marks an important step toward regulatory clarity in Pakistan’s insurance sector.
