The United Insurance Company (UIC) and a multinational company Gerry’s Visa has inked a deal to provide international travellers health cover across the globe.
According to the agreement, Pakistanis travelling abroad would be given full medical support anywhere in the world and would be compensated in case of an accident or illness. The amount of compensation in case of death, disability or hospitalization is up to one hundred thousand dollars and the claim will be settled directly then and there.
Travelers will also be given facilities like emergency evacuation and emergency dental cover while they would be compensated for a lost passport, missing baggage and delayed flights while travellers would also be provided round the clock support and guidance anywhere in the world.
Speaking at the occasion, Mohammad Hamid Atta said, “Being the proud pioneers of visa facilitation in Pakistan we indulge diligently to seek the best available services for our valued applicants.”
The agreement was signed by Senior Executive Director of UIC Dr Murtaza Mughal and Manager Business and Project Development Gerry’s Visa Mr. Mohammad Hamid Atta. GM UIC Altimish Malik, Manager Customer Experience Gerry’s Visa Shahab Shoaib Qureshi and Asst. Manager Accounts Gerry’s Visa Akbar Aftab was also present at the occasion.
He added that collaborating with UIC would indeed make the applicants experience better while travelling abroad and ensure that they get the best medical coverage that the industry has to offer.
